Social Studies
The social studies curriculum builds students’

understanding of civics, geography, economics, and

history through inquiry-based learning and analysis

of real-world issues.

The science curriculum at SCA is inquiry-driven and STEM-focused, providing students in grades 6–8 with rigorous, hands-on learning experiences aligned to the Maryland College and Career-Ready Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
